Cecil Purnell Classique 47 Watch - Avant-Garde Feel

Cecil Purnell is delighted to introduce its new Classique 47 watch. A worthy follower of the brand’s Classique 43 model, unveiled at Basel World 2010, the novelty exudes a more avant-garde feel.


The new Cecil Purnell watch is set in a 47 mm case. It is crafted from black PVD-treated MX 455 steel, coated with microbillage finish. The back part of the model features an opening. The brand also plans to release a rose gold (5N18) or a white gold (150 Palladium) version.

The new Cecil Purnell Classique 47 watch is assembled with a non-convex glare-proofed sapphire crystal. The glass protects a well-balanced dial. Equipped with triangle-shaped hour-markers, it tells hours and minutes.

The hallmark feature of the display is a tourbillion mechanism, presented in the opening at 6 o’clock. The tourbillon cage is set between two bridges.

All the functions are powered by a hand-wound caliber CP3888 movement. Set with 19 jewels, it runs at the rate of 21,600 vibrations per hour and provides a 60-hour power reserve.

A black leather strap with white stitching rounds off an impeccable appearance of the new Cecil Purnell watch.
