The Cartier Cirque Animalier 'Elephant' watch shown reveals an a 18K pink gold case, and an eye-fascinating elephant design in 18K white gold, with emerald eyes. Almost the entire creation is paved with round brilliant diamonds.
The unique timepiece goes on a fabric strap fitted with an 18K pink gold diamond-set buckle. Diamond total weight is about 7.2 carats. The Cartier watch accommodates a Swiss quartz movement, and is fitted with a sapphire crystal.

Rotonde de Cartier Astrotourbillon watch. The chief attribute of this new model is its
9451 MC movement produced entirely in the manufacture’s workshops.
It took the brand’s masters five years to develop this highly advanced movement. It is equipped with the
tourbillon carriage, comprising various members of the escapement and sprung balance.
This mechanism has borrowed some of its features from the classic tourbillon. Its carriage, for example, is driven by the third wheel of the gear train. Similar to its conventional counterpart, the new tourbillon is equipped with the escapement wheel pinion. It spins around a fixed seconds-wheel, the fourth wheel of the gear train, in order to drive the escapement.

novel “S” line captures attention by its imposing exterior. The new components, truly individualizing the pieces from the collection, are a straight steel-link bracelet and a black rubber strap, which add up to a timeless design of the watch.
The
first variation of the
Cartier Roadster S watch features a
polished steel case. It is equipped with a steel stylized crown.
The case displays a satin-finished bezel, which frames an
opaline dial. The latter is completed with Roman numerals. Sweeping smoothly over them are sword-shaped steel hands, coated with a luminous compound. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal.

holly, chestnut, poplar, willow, grey and pink maple, walnut and burr walnut, mottled maple and grey aningeria. Skilfully composed of 38 parts, the display required over 160 hours of dedicated work.

The House of Cartier has started a new chapter of its history, having opened up a workshop in the canton of Geneva. Since 1981, Cartier International SA, has been established in Geneva. The new workshop testifies the brand's intention to subscribe to the traditional values of excellence of Swiss watchmaking.
Cartier has opened an assembly and final adjustment workshop in Meyrin that employs ten highly experienced and qualified watchmakers to start with and set to grow very rapidly. The new workshop confirms Cartier' s priority of being based in the heart of Geneva, the birthplace of most prestigious watchmaking.
