The world famous horological company Blancpain is delighted to bring forth its enthralling Carrousel Repetition Minutes Le Brassus watch. Two years ago, the brand successfully introduced the Le Brassus one-minute carrousel tourbillon movement into the world of watchmaking. This year, the complicated mechanism has been equipped with a minute-repeater mechanism. In fact, for the Le Brassus model to get the Grand Complication status, the company plans to enrich the movement with a new complication every year.
To be classified as a grand complication, a watch must incorporate three complications, one of the following three categories: timing, astronomical and striking. Thus, the model issued in 2010, is endowed with a tourbillon (timing) and a minute-repeater (striking). Next year, this horological product will be added some astronomical complication: a perpetual calendar, an equation of time or a moon phase. Every watch, launched within this series, will surely become a coveted timekeeping object for the collectors.
The Carrousel Repetition Minutes Le Brassus watch introduces an array of innovations to please the eye, the heart and the mind. The cathedral gong minute-repeater is fitted with two sounding rings, which exceed one and a half times the diameter of the movement. They are affixed to the inside of the case for the sound produced to be clearer and stronger.

Composed of 414 parts, the Calibre 1736 movement represents an eloquent hint to the new, technically advanced interpretation of the Blancpain renowned Calibre 1735 to be manufactured in 2015.
