TAG Heuer Presents Carrera Jack Heuer 80th Birthday Watch

Jul 16, 2012
With Jack Heuer celebrating his 80th birthday in 2012, TAG Heuer is pleased to present its Carrera Jack Heuer 80th Birthday watch. Jack Heuer is famous as the grandson of the company’s founder and Heuer CEO till its sale in 1982. He is also the one who introduced the initial Carrera watch back in 1964.

The new TAG Heuer watch features a metallic silver dial with a sun-burst pattern. It shows the time with help of applied hour-markers and silver hands. The dial has a two-register chronograph lay-out, with dark grey sub-dials. Their radial pattern was borrowed from the vintage Carrera models.

You will notice the bright red “Heuer” logo, red chronograph hand and two sub-dial hands with red tips. The tachymeter scale sports a red “80″ hinting at the anniversary.
The 41mm case of the chronograph is crafted from stainless steel. It incorporates new-style pushers. The case is mounted on a black perforated calf strap, featuring a red soft rubber lining.

The timepiece is animated by the Calibre 17 movement.

The solid-steel case-back demonstrates Jack Heuer’s signature and the family crest.

The new TAG Heuer Carrera Jack Heuer 80th Birthday watch may be also worn on a stainless steel bracelet with brushed and polished finishes.

The timepiece is limited to 3000 pieces.
