The new Patravi Blue Wave watches are distinguished by a blue dial and are coupled with a blue calfskin strap or a stainless steel bracelet. The elegant timepieces provide such useful functions as the chronograph, the big date, the power reserve and the retrograde hours.
All the four novelties, described below by Watches.InfoNIAC.com, demonstrate striking visual appearance.
The Patravi ChronoGrade watch offers six useful functions for everyday, including the chronograph’s retrograde hours counter. Each rotation of the chronograph hand at the center is followed by the minutes hand at the counter at 9 o’clock that moves one graduation further. When the rotation is completed, a smart gearing mechanism transfers this to an hours counter positioned between 7 and 8 o’clock, and the chronograph hour hand moves downwards on a semicircular scale. When the hours chronograph hand finds itself at the end of the scale, it instantly jumps back to its starting point.
The retrograde indication distinguishes the Patravi ChronoGrade from traditional chronograph models.
One more remarkable thing about the watch is the flyback function that allows to restart the chronograph with just one push of a button, with no need to stop the operation. In addition to the above mentioned functions, the exclusive timepiece also displays the power reserve and the big date function via two windows.
The Patravi T-Graph watch demonstrates a unique barrel-shaped case. The peculiarity of the timepiece is the original power reserve display. This function is presented via an arc-shaped scale with high/low display featured on a disc positioned at 6 o’clock. The disk turns in a clockwise direction when the timepiece is wound up. The disc features a hand which also moves in a clockwise direction as the watch unwinds.
This technical peculiarity has for the first time been presented by Carl F. Bucherer along with a chronograph, a big date and a barrel-shaped case.
The chronograph function’s minutes circle is also worth special attention. The timer scale has been positioned on purpose along the inner edge of the markers, so the stop-seconds can be easily read, accurate to a quarter of a second.
The Carl F. Bucherer Patravi TravelTec watch is one more powerful chronograph watch, displaying three time zones simultaneously.
It allows to switch the date display both forwards and backwards. Switching is automatic when you reset the time. A red 24-hour hand indicates the home time with help of a fixed 24-hour scale featured on the dial’s flange. The red hand that interacts with a 24-hour rotating bezel inside the watch case, shows a third time zone.
The rotating bezel is moved with help of an innovative single push-piece located at 10 o’clock.
The Patravi ChronoDate watch has also been created with a blue dial.
