Hermes Cape Cod Tonneau Bleu de Malte Watches - Plain and Gem-set

Nov 11, 2010
The horological company Hermes enables its faithful admirers to enjoy a new Cape Cod Tonneau Bleu de Malte watch. It is instantly identifiable due to Maltese blue, a deep hue, which mirrors the color of amazing sea waves.

The new Hermes watch is available with or without diamond setting. Characterized by gentle and elegant curves, the plain version of the new model is set in a tonneau-shaped steel case. On the top side, it is assembled with a glare-proofed sapphire crystal.

Beneath this glass there is an alluring dial, dressed in white. Distinguished by exquisite purity, it includes blue-rimmed Arabic numerals. The dial is swept over by central hands, taking care of hours and minutes. The brands logo is found in the upper part of the display.

The basic functions are brought to life by a robust quartz movement. The new Cape Cod Tonneau Bleu de Malte watch is mounted on a single or double tour Maltese Blue smooth calfskin strap. Adorned with grey stitching, it terminates in a steel pin buckle.

The gem-set interpretation of the new Hermes watch is also proposed with a steel case. Its surface, however, is brightened by Top Wesselton VVS brilliant-cut diamonds. The overall weight of 52 precious stones comes to 1.3 carats.

Housed in the case is a natural white mother-of-pearl dial. Extremely clear, it is completed with blue-rimmed Arabic numerals as well as central hour and minutes hands.

The new Hermes Cape Cod Tonneau Bleu de Malte Gem-set watch accommodates a reliable quartz movement. Its refined face is underscored by a single tour Maltese Blue calfskin strap. Boasting grey stitching, it is finalized by a steel pin buckle.

A successful blend of comfort and elegance, the new models are easy-to-wear on all occasions.
