Concord and Ronny Turiaf - C1 Heart2Heart Chronograph

Concord is proud to introduce a new timepiece to join its watch line dedicated to champions. The C1 Heart2Heart watch, to be available in a limited number of 25 pieces, has been created to support French basketball star Ronny Turiaf, and his Heart to Heart Foundation in particular.

The Concord C1 Heart2Heart chronograph watch, offering precision guaranteed by the COSC- chronometer certification, glorifies the courage and resoluteness of the basketball champion who went through open-heart surgery at the age of 22.

After six months, Ronny Turiaf felt himself recovered enough to be back in the game, and, in a short period of time, the player joined the famous Los Angeles Lakers. Now, Ronny plays in the NBA with the Golden State Warriors of Oakland and belongs to the French national team.

In 2008, Ronny Turiaf established the Heart to Heart Foundation with an aim to provide treatment and ECG testing for underprivileged patients, and especially children, who suffer from heart disease.

Concord has now joined efforts with the champion, having created the Heart2Heart Chronograph to support the Foundation with a share of the watch sales profits.

The Concord Heart2Heart Chronograph, designed to reflect the character of the champion, demonstrates a powerful case and layered carbon fibre dial shielded by a 3.3 mm thick sapphire crystal.

The dial features blood-red accents highlighting the rotating seconds disc, the central seconds hand, number "21" on the date disc (Ronny Turiaf’s NBA jersey number), and the saddle-stitching on the rubber-coated alligator leather strap.

The sapphire crystal window in the case-back of the Concord watch, reviewed by Watches.InfoNIAC.com, allows to rest one’s eyes on the sophisticated workings of the movement, with the black rotor embellished with vertical Cotes de Geneve. The glass features Ronny Turiaf’s signature and the Heart to Heart logo.
