Van Cleef and Arpels Enchants Ladies with Butterfly Symphony Watch

The house of Van Cleef & Arpels never ceases to amaze its devoted admirers.

This time, the brand has stunned the horological world with the presentation of its retrograde Butterfly Symphony lady’s watch.

A true horological marvel, the model has adopted an artfully executed 38 mm case, crafted from white gold. Its thickness constitutes 11.7 mm. The timepiece handles depths of up to 20 meters.

The novel Van Cleef & Arpels watch carries a graceful bezel, which presents a shimmering play of jewels.

It forms a precious frame around a fascinating dial, equipped with Arabic numerals. Each number is coupled with a scintillating diamond which adds to the elegance of the timekeeper’s face.

The display of the Van Cleef & Arpels Butterfly Symphony watch catches and holds the gaze with two enameled butterflies, swooping up and down a great tree with a white gold trunk and mother-of-pearl foliage. The cheerful butterflies successfully substitute for hour and minute hands.

Giving life to the model’s functions is a hand-wound retrograde mechanical movement. It beats to the rhythm of 21,600 variations per hour and provides a 39-hour power reserve.

A head-turning accessory, the new Van Cleef & Arpels watch comes fitted with a leather strap, finalized by a pin buckle.
