Bulova Accutron Gemini Watch - Reliability and Precision

May 31, 2011
Bulova Accutron is glad to offer its new Gemini collection. Its name stems from NASAs pioneering space programme, which led to the great success of the Apollo missions.

Within the framework of the Gemini programme, a Bulova Accutron clock with a 24-hour display was incorporated into the instrument panels aboard the modules, participating in eight missions.

Distinguished by reliability and precision, the new Bulova Accutron watch is set in a 42mm stainless steel case. Its structure incorporates a cambered anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a transparent screw-down back. The model is water-resistant down to 50 meters.

Housed in the case is a black dial, adorned with undulating guilloche motif. It reveals willow leaf-shaped hour and minute hands, joined by a red-tipped large seconds hand. The latter is fitted with a tuning-fork counterweight.

The display of each new Bulova Accutron Gemini watch also comprises 12-hour, small seconds and 30-minute counters, located at 6, 9 and 12 oclock respectively. The well-balanced design is completed by day and date exhibition windows at 3 oclock.

Animating the functions is an automatic ETA 7750 Valjoux movement, embellished with 25 jewels.

The new Bulova Accutron watch is coupled with a stainless steel bracelet, terminating in a double-pusher folding clasp.

The model can also demonstrate a silver-toned dial, combined with a brown leather strap. Additionally, the brand offers a version with a black dial, enclosed in a PVD-treated rose gold case.
