The novelty is a tribute to the brand’s rich past, which includes the cooperation with the American space agency. The new Bulova Accutron watch comes packaged in a 42mm PVD-treated rose gold case. Its front side is protected by a cambered anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The screw-down case-back is transparent. The water-resistance of the model is assured down to 50 meters.
The case is complimented by a black dial, adorned with an undulating guilloche motif. It is completed with applied hour-markers as well as willow-leaf shaped hour and minute hands. The small seconds are shown in a counter at 9 o’clock. The face of the new Bulova Accutron Gemini Valjoux watch also offers the day and date indications at 3 o’clock.
The chronograph functionality is assured through a 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock, a 12-hour sub-dial at 6 o’clock and a central red-tipped large seconds hand with a tuning-fork counterweight. Animating the functions is an automatic ETA 7750 Valjoux movement, built on 25 jewels.
