Bombfrog BT25 Tactic Diving Watch - Illuminated by Tritium Tubes

Jan 03, 2011
The novel BT25 Tactic diving watch is an excellent offer from the young German timepiece manufacture Bombfrog.

The main asset of the creation is represented by long-lasting tritium tubes, which ensure the black dial remains optimally readable at all times. These tubes act as hour-markers, doubled at 12 o’clock. They are kept company by three more tubes, incorporated into the hour, minutes and seconds hands, manufactured from steel.

The tubes are joined by white-painted Arabic numerals and a minute track, performed in the same color. The Arabic numerals are also exposed on the imposing stainless steel bezel of the new Bombfrog watch.

Just as well, the display offers a date indication, arranged in the aperture between 4 and 5 o’clock. Protecting the watch face is a high-grade sapphire crystal.

The dial of the new BT25 Tactic diving watch is enclosed in a round-shaped case, crafted from stainless steel. Its measurements constitute 44 mm x 51 mm. The case is fitted with a powerful time-setting crown. Safely protected, it is revealed at 3 o’clock. The back side of the case is bolted and engraved.

The architecture of the new model also incorporates neat lugs, which width is equal to 22 mm. The case construction is submersible to 300 meters. The interior life of the timepiece is represented by a Seiko self-winding movement, decorated with 21 jewels.

The new Bombfrog watch is mounted on a textile NATO strap, dressed in black. A blend of contemporary design and flawless functionality, this model is scheduled for selling in January, 2011.
