Today, the brand offers a new version of the iconic model, lending it a distinctly contemporary feel. The new Breguet Reine de Naples watch is set in an egg-shaped steel case with a finely fluted band. Its measurements are 43.75mm x 35.50 mm.
The model features a sapphire-crystal case-back and a facetted crown at 4 o’clock, set with a “briolette-cut” diamond. The water-resistance of the case is assured down to 30 meters.
The new Breguet watch is complimented by a dial in white mother-of-pearl. It is individually numbered and signed Breguet. The dial sports an off-centered chapter ring at 6 o’clock.
The display is also equipped with relief-painted Breguet Roman numerals, placed at 6 and 12 o’clock. The display ensures hours and minutes, indicated by Breguet hollow “moon” tip hands in blued steel.
The new Breguet Reine de Naples watch is constructed around a self-winding mechanical calibre 591C movement, numbered and signed Breguet. It incorporates a 22-carat gold oscillating weight hand-engraved on a rose engine.
Integrated within the movement are also a balance-spring, lever and escape-wheel, made of silicon. Paved with 25 jewels, the caliber operates at a frequency of 4Hz and supplies a 38-hour power reserve.
The new Breguet watch is accompanied by a grey alligator leather strap with a steel folding clasp. The strap is attached to the case by means of a ball-lug at 6 o’clock.
