In constant pursuit of excellence, the house of Breguet has delivered its new Marine Tourbillon 5839 High Jewellery Chronograph watch.
With its details impressively well thought out, the new Breguet watch has adopted a 43mm case. It is sculptured from 18-carat white gold with a finely fluted case-band. The case-band, bezel, crown, rounded lugs and wave-shaped chronograph push-pieces are illuminated by the play of 186 baguette-cut diamonds. The total weight of jewels comes to 11.77 carats.
The aforementioned lugs are welded to the case with screw pins, which secure an alligator leather strap. The latter terminates in a buckle, studded with 58 diamonds with the overall weight of 0.23 carats. The back side of the model is hand-engraved on a rose engine and equipped with a sapphire crystal. The case is built to be 30-meter water-resistant.
The new Breguet Marine Tourbillon 5839 High Jewellery Chronograph watch comes equipped with a silvered 18-carat gold dial. Hand-engraved on a rose engine, it is paved with 132 diamonds, totaling to 0.35 carats. The display is individually numbered and signed Breguet. It features a chapter ring with Roman numerals and lume-applied dots.
The central hours and minutes are shown by open-tipped blued steel Breguet hands, inlaid with luminous substance. The special attention-getter of the dial is an opening at 12 o’clock, which enables the user to admire a tourbillon carriage. It also serves as a small seconds indicator.
Additionally, the display includes 30-minute and 12-hour chronograph counters, located at 3 and 6 o’clock respectively.
All the functions are brought to life by a hand-wound Cal. 554.4 tourbillon movement, numbered and signed Breguet. Its balance-spring, escape-wheel and lever are made of silicon. Adorned with 28 jewels, the mechanism operates at a frequency of 3Hz and supplies a 50-hour power reserve.
The new Breguet watch targets the audience that appreciates smart technique behind glamorous design.
