At Baselworld 2009, among other fine timepieces, Breguet unveiled the Classique Ref. 7337 Date Moon Phase watch.
The timepiece reflects the supreme elegance and artisanal craftsmanship innate to every Breguet timepiece. It follows the steps of the Ref. 3330, based on a unique pocket watch of the brand that is currently found in the Breguet museum in Paris.
The new Breguet watch has been created with an updated case size - now it measures 39mm in diameter. Besides the day, the date, and phases of the moon functions, the timepiece
indicates the subsidiary seconds.
The case of the Breguet watch, reviewed by Watches.InfoNIAC.com, reflecting the purity and elegance of Classique collection, is crafted in 18K yellow or white gold. The side part of the case is embellished with a nice vertically fluted pattern.
The case construction incorporates sapphire crystals on front and back, and is 30-meter water resistant.
The dial in silvered gold demonstrates four perfectly executed engine turned patterns. The off-centered time display is completed with applied gold cabochons and Roman numeral hour markers, as well as the signature Breguet blued steel Pomme hands.
The Breguet Ref. 7337 watch is animated by the 502 caliber movement impressing by its slimness. The refined self-winding movement boasts meticulous decoration. The gold central rotor is adorned with a hobnail guilloche pattern. Beating at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, the movement provides a 46-hour power reserve. The case features special corrector buttons for adjusting the calendar and moon phase function.
The Breguet Classique Ref. 7737 watch goes on a hand-sewn crocodile leather strap fitted with a buckle in white or yellow gold.
