Bold Alpina Extreme Watch for Andros Trophy Winners

The Andros Trophy (or "Trophée Andros" as spelt in French) is a famous French national championship, based on the exciting concept of ice racing. Representing one of the leading disciplines of the international motor sports, the competition captures by its spectacle and attracts by its friendly atmosphere.

The championship was initiated by Max Mamers, a professional racer, in 1992. The Andros Trophy 2009 edition is to feature 7 events. The event will take place in the period of December 2008 - January 2009 on circuits of French and Andorran Ski resorts.

To mark the 20th edition of the Andros Trophy in a really special way, Swiss Manufacturer of fine quality sport timepieces Alpina, has created a commemorative timepiece - the ALPINA Extreme "Trophée Andros 2009 - 20ème édition".

Reflecting the philosophy of the prestigious Swiss brand, the special edition watch is developed to correspond to the strictest demands of the pilots participating in the Andros Trophy competition.

The case of the Alpina Extreme watch measures 48mm in diameter. It is crafted in stainless steel coated in black PVD.

The precision timekeeping is guaranteed due to an automatic Swiss movement manufactured in the Alpina Genève workshops.

Every winner in his category will be awarded with the special edition Alpina Extreme watch at the end of the last Final on January 31, 2009 on the circuit of Super Besse, located close to Clermont-Ferrand.
