Blacksand Geneve Uniformity Watch - Minimalist Style

Feb 24, 2011
The house of Blacksand Geneve proudly unveils its new Uniformity watch, which sets an ideal balance between best watchmaking traditions and minimalist style.

The visually inviting model is set in a 46 mm case. It is rendered in grade 5 titanium, tantalum, 5N gold or sand-blasted matt ceramic. The new Blacksand Geneve watch is equipped with a screw-down crown. Its matt ceramic insert and cap ensure the model is 100-meter water-resistant.

The timepiece also reveals an open case-back, protected by a sapphire crystal. It enables the user to admire the fascinating workings of a self-winding twin-barrel movement, certified by the COSC.

The mechanism incorporates a tungsten carbide rotor, which boasts an exclusive ruthenium embellishment and a pierced Blacksand logo. Adorned with 35 jewels, the movement beats to the rhythm of 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a 120-hour power-reserve.

The caliber serves to animate the functions of hours, minutes, seconds and date. They are presented on a two-level dial. It exposes an opaline base and a straight satin-brushed upper plate, offered in black, black gold or white.

The display of the new Blacksand Geneve Uniformity watch can comprise rhodium-treated hour-markers, inlaid with blue Superluminova, or Arabic numerals, produced from composite Superluminova in high relief. The hands are satin-brushed or polished and coated with a matt varnish.

The new Blacksand Geneve watch is mounted on an HNBR technical rubber or an alligator leather strap. Both versions terminate in a triple-blade folding clasp, endowed with ceramic-capped personalized pushers.
