The face of the Breitling watch is protected by a double-sided anti-reflective convex sapphire crystal. The timepiece is 100-meter water-resistant.
The powerful watch accommodates an exclusive automatic movement created by the brand - Breitling 26B caliber. The 38-jewel movement, beating at the rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour, offers supreme precision guaranteed by the COSC-chronometer certification. The movement animates a range of useful functions, including hours, minutes, seconds, date, 1/4 second chronograph. The dial demonstrates the central 60-minute counter, 12-hour counter positioned at 9 o’clock, and direct-drive seconds counter at 3 o’clock. There is also the central direct-drive 1/4 of a second chronograph hand.
In the very central part of the dial you will notice a scale for the hundredths of an hour or minutes. The date window is found at 6 o’clock.
Besides the usual fixed tachometer, the dial also demonstrates a variable tachometer with a circular slide rule. While conventional tachometers allow to take measurements only over 60 seconds, this exclusive creation of the brand can measure average speeds over any period of time, the distance covered and the maximum speed reached.
