Welcome New Bell & Ross BR 01 Turn Coordinator Watch

Aug 07, 2012
The horological world welcomes the new Bell & Ross BR 01 Turn Coordinator watch. The dial design of the timepiece has been inspired by the graphic characteristics of the turn coordinator. The creators of the watch came up with an original and innovative time display.

The dial consists of two windows that are separated by a line that looks like a plane. The upper window features the time display, while the lower window is opaque.

The dial demonstrates two independent concentric discs, graduated to 12 hours and 60 minutes. Beneath the crystal, a vertical white marker is used for indicating the large hour digits and the small minute digits. The third central disc is used for the seconds.

The 46mm case is provided with anti-reflective, matte black carbon finish suggested by the shade of an instrument panel. The face is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.

The best watchmaking engineers of the brand met a number of technical challenges working on the design of the watch. Keeping in mind that each disc weighs 30 times more than a simple watch hand, they developed the ultra-light discs as to maintain the power reserve and accuracy of the timepiece. The discs are also highly-resistant to avoid deformation and friction.

The Bell & Ross BR 01 Turn Coordinator watch is equipped with a mechanical automatic movement - ETA 2892.

The new Bell & Ross watch is water-resistant to 100 meters. It is teamed with a rubber and heavy-duty canvas strap.

The novelty will be available in a limited edition of 999 pieces.
