Jan 24, 2011
Bell & Ross has proudly delivered its new Vintage Original Carbon watches - BR 123 and BR 126. The acclaimed Vintage collection is devoted to the professional pilots of the 1940s, who were the first to rely on the timekeepers in the course of their missions.

Equipped with a number of vintage elements, the new Bell & Ross watches still offer sophisticated technology and appealing design of modern timepieces.

It is an ultra-domed sapphire crystal, which lends both models a vintage look. Characterized by high level of resistance, the glass reminds of the intensive usage of the on-board flight instrumentation.

Beneath the sapphire crystal there is an attractive dial. It exposes hour-markers and a minute track, which stand out against a matt black background. The indexes are joined by oversized white numerals at 3, 9 and 12 oclock.

The display of the new BR 123 Vintage Original Carbon watch ensures central hours and minutes, indicated by lume-applied black and white hands. The seconds are shown in a counter at 6 oclock. At the bottom of this sub-dial there is a round date aperture.

The design of the watch face is completed by the brands logo, featured beneath the numeral at 12 oclock. Equipped with contrasting elements, the dial fully conforms to the iron legibility principles of professional aviation instruments.

In addition to the functions of central hours, minutes and seconds, the new BR 126 Vintage Original Carbon watch provides those of chronograph. These functions are presented through 60-second and 30-minute counters.

Each of the models is available with a 41mm case, crafted from black PVD-treated steel. Its construction is 100-meter water-resistant. Inside the case is hidden a reliable ETA automatic mechanical movement.

Carried out with an eye on quality, the new Bell & Ross watches are accompanied by brown calfskin straps. Both are fitted with tongue buckles in black PVD-treated steel.
