In 2009, Baume & Mercier has created four new all-steel timepieces to join its famous Classima Executives collection. The new watches reflect the classic and timeless values of traditional watchmaking. They are characterized by supreme harmony and elegance.
The steel round cases of the new Classima Executives watches measure 39 mm or 42 mm in diameter. The timepieces are presented on polished and satin-brushed steel bracelets, while the previously created models in the collection were presented exclusively with alligator leather straps.
The dials of the Baume & Mercier watches are embellished with a line guilloche decor. The time is indicated by elegant blued steel hands. The dials are completed with classic Roman numerals and hour-markers.
The dial of one of the four watches allows to see the balance in motion via a special dial opening at 12 o’clock.
The Classima Executives watches guarantee precision timekeeping as they are animated by mechanical self-winding movements. One of the four models is equipped with an automatic movement that provides the dual time-zone and power-reserve displays. The other three timepieces feature the date function via a small window at 3 o’clock.
The partially open case backs reveal the beauty of the movements demonstrating the traditionally decorated components, with the oscillating weight snailed and embellished with a Cotes de Geneve motif.
The new Baume & Mercier Classima Executives steel watches, reviewed by Watches.InfoNIAC.com, feature contemporary reinterpreted designs, with meticulous attention paid even to the smallest details.
As a symbol of technical and aesthetic perfection, the Greek Phi symbol, the emblem of the brand, is featured on the crown and dials at 12 o’clock.
