The new Baume & Mercier watch is set in a 42mm polished stainless steel case, round in shape. It thickness comes to 10.1mm. The water-resistance of the model is assured down to 30 meters. The front side of the case is protected by a high-grade sapphire crystal. The same glass is used for the case-back, which permits the glance into an automatic Soprod 9040 movement.
The caliber incorporates blued steel screws and an inertia balance, graced with a Cotes-de-Geneve finish. The last-mentioned element is displayed in the 12 o’clock opening, featured on the silvered “grain d’orge” guilloched dial.
Equipped with black Roman numerals and stick-shaped indexes, the display of the new Baume & Mercier Classima Executives XL watch boasts central hour, minute and seconds hands in blackened steel. At 6 o’clock the dial also offers a power reserve indicator, fitted with an 18-carat rose-gold hand.
The new Baume & Mercier watch is coupled with a black alligator leather strap. It joins to a triple folding clasp.
