The new Baume & Mercier watch is set in a round-shaped 42 mm case, sculptured in 18-carat rose gold or stainless steel. Its architecture incorporates an elegant bezel and lugs, manufactured from the matching material.
The case is fitted with a massive time-setting crown, nestled at 3 o’clock. It is supported by two push-pieces, nestled at 2 and 4 o’clock.
The case of the timepiece boasts top and bottom high-grade sapphire crystals. The front glass serves to protect a clearly laid out tow-toned dial. It is completed with black Arabic numerals, standing out against white background.
The display of the new Capeland Flyback Chronograph watch indicates hours and minutes by means of Breguet-type hands. The 60-second counter is found at 9 o’clock.
It is visually balanced by the 30-minute chronograph sub-dial, presented at 3 o’clock. The date indication is exposed in the aperture, arranged between 4 and 5 o’clock.
To crown it all, the dial is endowed with a telemeter scale, which can be read off from a slim central hand.
Inside the appealing model seats a Swiss made automatic La Joux-Perret ebauche movement, graced with a circular-grained finish.
The mechanism incorporates a winding rotor, which bears the brand’s logo. Moreover, it is adorned with Cotes de Geneve and snail patterns.
The new Baume & Mercier watch is coupled with a dark brown or black alligator leather strap.
The timepiece described is endowed with a rare degree of refinement and elegance.
