To celebrate its 125th anniversary, Breitling has created a limited edition model of its legendary Navitimer Chronograph. The timepiece has inherited the slide rule bezel to be used for performing a wide range of calculations. The new Navitimer is to be unveiled at Baselworld 2009.


The Breitling Navitimer 125th Anniversary watch features the distinctive elements of the classic pilot's models of the brand, including a two-counter chronograph and a highly masculine "Air Racer" bracelet.

The case of the new Breitling watch is crafted from stainless steel or 18K red gold. To provide maximum legibility, the dial is protected by a curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. The stainless steel version of the watch reveals a black or bronze dial, while the red gold one reveals a black or silver dial. The dial is completed with polished applied baton indexes.  read more

Following the amazing success of the TAG Heuer Grand CARRERA Calibre 36 RS Caliper Concept Chronograph unveiled at Baselworld 2008, this year TAG Heuer has created its worthy successor with a bold case crafted in titanium - the Grand CARRERA Calibre 36 RS2 Caliper Chronograph Ti2. The ultra high-tech timepiece was presented at Baselworld 2009.

The new watch is animated by the TAG Heuer Calibre 36 RS automatic movement. The COSC-chronometer-certified movement incorporates two Rotating Systems that indicate the chronograph minutes at 3 o’clock and chronograph hours at 6.

Featuring the above mentioned indications, the black dial of the watch is completed with hand-applied curved faceted indexes with double finishings, the polished hands with polished facets and luminescent markers and a red chronograph seconds hand.  read more

The P'6920 Rattrapante Chronograph is a new sporty timepiece from Porsche Design. The highly masculine watch, equipped with a mechanical movement, will be unveiled at Baselworld 2009.

The P'6920 Rattrapante can measure intermediate times due to the split-second mechanism. First, the watch wearer has to start the chronograph by pressing the push-piece found at 2 o’clock and the two superimposed central seconds hands start to move.

When the watch wearer presses the push-piece on the left, the lower seconds hand stops, indicating the first intermediate time. When the push-piece on the left is pressed again, the first hand catches up with the second hand and continues moving in synchrony. The precision of the Rattrapante Chronograph is crowned with a COSC-certificate. read more

Blancpain has created a new bold chronograph watch to celebrate the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo, a unique car racing championship organized due to the joined efforts of Blancpain and Lamborghini.
