Thirty years ago Audemars Piguet unveiled the first ever ultra-thin self-winding perpetual calendar watch.
In 2008, the Swiss watch company created its special anniversary edition Jules Audemars 30th Anniversary Perpetual Calendar. The timepiece will be available in a limited edition of only 90 pieces. The watch accommodates a movement that is merely 4 millimetres thick.
The Kaliber 2120/2802 is an ultra-thin, self-winding movement comprising 355 parts. The mechanism features the day, date, month, moon-phases and leap-year cycle complications. The perpetual calendar of the watch will not need any correction before March 1st, 2100.

Jasmine Bapic as Vice President for the company’s Latin American operations.
As a manager for the brand’s Bal Harbour boutique, as well as the Audemars Piguet sales representative for the East Coast region of the United States, Ms. Bapic has acquired an extensive experience, which made her a natural choice for the position of VP of Latin America Division.
Beside consolidating and expanding the company’s retail network within the area, she was in charge for as the East Coast sales representative, Ms. Bapic was also actively involved in formulating organization parameters, which is of great importance to the brand in everyday operations.

Bolshoi Ballet and Opera was appointed a new ambassadress for the brand.

Born in the Ukrainian city of Lutsk, at the age of 10
Svetlana Zakharova entered Kiev Ballet School and began her studies in
Valeriya Sulegina’s class. When she was 15, she became the youngest participant of the
Vaganova-Prix Young Dancers’ Competition. In spite of her age, she was bestowed with the second prize and afterwards admitted to the third year of studies at the
A.Y. Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet.
After graduating from the Academy, Zakharova started to perform in the
Mariinsky Theatre Company, where her bright talent was again highly appreciated: by the following season she had been appointed a soloist.
Svetlana asserted herself as a new star of Russian ballet, when she still was an Academy student: she brilliantly debuted as the
Mistress of the Dryads in
