The Audemars Piguet Millenary Carbon One Tourbillon Chronograph watch has been inspired by motor sports and their ultra-light speed machines offering high-performance.

The timepiece has smartly united three-dimensional design, innovative materials, and the brand’s proprietary movement animating a tourbillon, a chronograph and a 10-day power reserve.

The Millenary Carbon One features an openworked dial, clearly demonstrating the way its parts are positioned on different levels. It reveals a caliber, with a modern design playing on symmetrical effects between the barrels and their bridges found on either side of the chronograph counter. The caliber, produced from innovative materials, is also characterized by redesigned shapes, including the tourbillon bridge. read more

Commemorating the Carlson Boutique in Hong Kong, the Audemars Piguet watch is named after the first road in Hong Kong. The latter was built by the government of Hong Kong within the period from 1841 to 1843.

Audemars Piguet’s Carlson Boutigue, the flagship store of the brand, is located at Queen’s Road Central, one of the four sections the road consists of. Its other parts are Queen's Road West, Queensway and Queen's Road East.

The prestigious watch and jewelry company Audemars Piguet is really pleased with the results of the 3rd edition of the Salon International Haute Relojeria Mexico 2009, which took place in Mexico City within the period from September 29th to October 1st. Shortly after Audemars Piguet had entered into a partnership with the legendary Bolshoi Theater, Svetlana Zakharova, a graceful star of the Bolshoi Ballet and Opera was appointed a new ambassadress for the brand.

According to Audemars Piguet CEO, Philippe Merk, the company is proud to be associated with Svetlana Zakharova, who is regarded as the best dancer in the world. He also added that Svetlana’s activity truly reflected the brand’s core values, which were high standards, strict discipline and excellence.

Born in the Ukrainian city of Lutsk, at the age of 10 Svetlana Zakharova entered Kiev Ballet School and began her studies in Valeriya Sulegina’s class. When she was 15, she became the youngest participant of the Vaganova-Prix Young Dancers’ Competition. In spite of her age, she was bestowed with the second prize and afterwards admitted to the third year of studies at the A.Y. Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet.

After graduating from the Academy, Zakharova started to perform in the Mariinsky Theatre Company, where her bright talent was again highly appreciated: by the following season she had been appointed a soloist.

Svetlana asserted herself as a new star of Russian ballet, when she still was an Academy student: she brilliantly debuted as the Mistress of the Dryads in Don Quixote, performed in Mariinsky Theater. The part of Maria in The Fountain of Bakhchisarai was her second important work.

Dancing the part of Giselle was Zakharova’s first major success. Neither audience nor critics let her performance go by unnoticed. Under impression, Vladimir Vasiliev invited the talented dancer to perform in the Bolshoi Theatre.

Alongside with her activity in the Mariinsky Theatre, Zakharova started successfully demonstrating her talent on the stages of Paris, Munich, New York, Buenos-Aires, Tokyo, London. One of the brightest events in her career was dancing in La Bayadere at the Paris Opera in 2001: she was the first Russian ballerina to dance at this great Theater in a French production after a thirteen-year long “iron curtain” period.

No matter where she works, Svetlana Zakharova happens to be an incarnation of pure style of the Russian school of ballet.

In 2008, she was conferred the title of People’s Artist of the Russian Federation. She also became the first Russian ballerina bestowed the title of the La Scala Ballet Company Etoile.

In 2006, she was chosen to be a member of the Presidential Council for Culture and Arts.

The festive dinner took place in the posh Boom Boom Room, located in New York's Standard Hotel.

Alongside with New York celebrities, this bright event was honored by the presence of Daniel Craig, Sean Penn, Mary-Kate Olsen, Chloe Sevigny, Milla Jovovich, Jared Leto, Leelee Sobieski, and Lindsay Lohan.

It is the third time Audemars Piguet has rendered its support to Fashion Week and especially to Olivier Zahm, a universally-famous fashion curator. The Editor in Chief of Purple Fashion magazine and the co-director of the Paris-based Purple Institute, an organization in search for the areas of common interest between the world of art and that of industry, are just a few responsibilities of Mr. Zahm.

In 2008, Audemars Piguet, famous for its Royal Oak and Royal Oak Offshore watch collections, was cooperating with Mr. Zahm in order to create enchanting window displays for the brand’s store in New York. Opening of West Village-based restaurant Charles, which occurred in the same city, was also a result of collaboration between Audemars Piguet and Mr. Zahm.

Audemars Piguet has created a new, limited edition Royal Oak watch devoted to the Great Wall in China.

The case of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Pride of China watch is crafted from the mixture of stainless steel and 18K pink gold.

The case, measuring 39mm in diameter, features the octagonal bezel, the distinctive feature of the Royal Oak collection. The bezel, the winding crown and the two rows of vertical links in the bracelet are also produced from the same mixture. The bezel is fixed with hexagonal white gold screws.  read more

Audemars Piguet has created a new interpretation of its highly prestigious Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph. The new chronograph model pays tribute to the brand’s 2009 sponsorship of the Gstaad Classic rally.

The 42-mm case of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Gstaad Classic 2009 Limited Edition is crafted from titanium. The watch has been designed with a number of original details distinguishing it from other members of the Offshore collection, including the upper chronograph push-piece in red rubber, and a perforated leather strap with nicely contrasting red stitching. The watch case-back is engraved with the words "Gstaad Classic 2009".

The Audemars Piguet watch also features characteristic details of the Offshore timepieces. It has the signature octagonal bezel that was first demonstrated by the Royal Oak watch introduced in 1972.

The new Audemars Piguet Don Ramon de la Cruz watch is an emblem of the first brand's boutique opened in Madrid. The powerfully-designed case of the watch is crafted from 18K pink gold. The men's version measures 42mm in diameter, while the women's version measures 37mm in diameter. The timepiece is 100-meter water-resistant.

The Audemars Piguet Millenary Pianoforte timepiece is an extraordinary watch, released in a limited edition of 500 items, as a sign of respect to the talent behind piano music.

There have been added “piano keys” on the entire periphery of the dial over the mother of pearl face to change the usual look of the Millenary watch. One of the most eye catching watches suggested by music, it reveals an 18k white gold case, sized 45mm, equipped with Audemars Piguet manufacture Calibre 3120 self-winding mechanical movement.

Other variations of the Millenary Pianoforte watch are fully paved with diamonds (the maximum number of 250 items). The watch is accompanied by a black strap made of alligator leather and is presented in a grand piano shaped box.

The reason for release of the only special edition timepiece in the Millenary Pianoforte line was the musician John Legend’s desire to raise funds for his Show Me Campaign. The latter is aimed at the poverty reduction all over the world by means of teaching regular profit practices in developing countries. The backside of this watch shows the engraved image of John Legend as well as his signature.

For now the John Legend Audemars Piguet Millenary Pianoforte timepiece is put up for an auction at CharityBuzz.com. The estimated price of the item amounts to 32,500 dollars, that is in line with the unique look of the watch and it is just 1000 dollars higher than its retail price.
