Audemars Piguet is involved in a long-term campaign, aimed at assisting the victims of the Tohoku earthquake in Northern Japan. Within the framework of the project it is planned to raise 100 million yen to be donated to the Japanese Red Cross.

On this very occasion, the brand has issued its new Royal Oak Offshore Ginza 7 Forged Carbon watch. It features a forged carbon case, measuring 42mm in diameter. The novelty sports a signature octagonal bezel, bolted down to the case with 8 screws. It guarantees 100-meter water-resistance.

Offered in a limited edition of 200 pieces, the new Audemars Piguet watch houses an automatic movement, completely assembled and embellished by hand. It incorporates a 22-carat gold rotor, which can be admired through the transparent case-back.

The caliber animates a set of functions, revealed on the perfectly balanced dial. The new Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Ginza 7 Forged Carbon watch offers central hours and minutes. The small seconds are shown in a counter at 12 o’clock.

The chronograph features are presented through a 30-minute sub-dial at 9 o’clock, 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock as well as a central seconds hand. The date indication appears in an aperture at 3 o’clock. An eye-catcher of the display is the numeral at 7 o’clock. Paved with diamonds, it is a special feature of the “Ginza 7” collection.

The new Audemars Piguet watch is teamed with a black crocodile strap, finalized by a titanium folding buckle.
