Audemars Piguet Don Ramon Watch - Emblem of Madrid Boutique

Audemars Piguet is glad to unveil its new exclusive timepiece named Don Ramon de la Cruz. The watch has been created as a symbol of the brand’s first boutique in Madrid, Spain. The about 400 square-meter boutique was inaugurated in December 2008. It is located in a prestigious area of Madrid right at the heart of the Salamanca district.

The Audemars Piguet Don Ramon chronograph watch initiates a new line of timepieces to be available exclusively at the brand’s boutique in Madrid. The charismatic watch has been created in a powerful masculine version and an elegant feminine version.

The aesthetically appealing and innovative design of the Audemars Piguet Don Ramon watch makes one feel a warm, Latin-style spirit. The case is sculptured in 18K pink gold and measures 42mm in diameter for the men’s version and 37mm in diameter for the lady’s version. Both versions are water resistant to 100 meters. The case-back of each timepiece features an engraving of the name Don Ramon de la Cruz.

incorporates a crown and pushers moulded in black rubber. The bezel demonstrates polished screws, while the lady’s version features a bezel adorned with 32 brilliant-cut diamonds.

The dial and strap of the Audemars Piguet watch are both created in a nice chestnut brown shade. The dial embellished by the “Mega Tapisserie” motif features the hands and Arabic numerals coated with black luminova for perfect readability. The dial on the lady’s watch is completed with mother-of-pearl counters and eight diamond hour-markers.

Watch lovers may choose between two interchangeable straps -one in rubber and another in hornback crocodile leather.

The Don Ramon de la Cruz boutique represents a meeting point and a club for Haute Horlogerie lovers.

The Audemars Piguet boutique captures by its avant-garde atmosphere and gentle murmur of a fountain. As Watches.InfoNIAC.com found out, the boutique's visitors are invited to the bar located near a nice garden where they can enjoy a cocktail, champagne or fruit juice while having a relaxed conversation.

Visitors, who are eager to find out more about the art of watchmaking, are invited to the well-stocked library or to the museum area where they can see Audemars Piguet iconic watches. They can also watch meticulous work of watchmakers at their workbenches via an electronic smart panel.
