Archimede Introduces Deck Watch R Watch

Sep 27, 2011
The German horological company Archimede is pleased to introduce its new Deck Watch R watch. The letter R, included into the models name, stands for Roman numerals, found on the dial.

An incarnation of discreet elegance, the face of the new Archimede watch is performed in white or black. It indicates central hours and minutes by means of blued or white hands. The small seconds are shown in a counter at 6 oclock.

The display is embraced by a round-shaped 42mm case, crafted from stainless steel. On the front side, it is assembled with a glare-proofed sapphire crystal. The bottom of the case is fitted with a mineral glass. The model provides 50-meter water-resistance.

The new Archimede Deck Watch R watch accommodates a Swiss-made hand-wound ETA Unitas 6498 movement. Paved with 17 jewels, it runs at the rate of 18,000 vibrations per hour and allows for a 46-hour power reserve.

The new Archimede watch goes on a black or brown leather strap with white stitching.
