Aquanautic Bara Cuda Watch - Bright Functionality

Oct 29, 2011
The horological company Aquanautic has unveiled its new Bara Cuda watch, outstanding both visually and technically.

The new Aquanautic watch features a 39mm case, crafted from black PVD-treated stainless steel. It carries a black bezel, which can be plain or paved with 32 trapeze-cut amethysts. The model is delivered with a screwdriver, which allows the user to switch the bezel.

The case is assembled with a top sapphire crystal. At 3 o’clock, it features a screw-locked crown with a safety lock. The water-resistance of the model is assured down to 100 meters.

Hidden inside the new Aquanautic Bara Cuda watch is a quartz ETA movement. It animates an array of practical functions, presented on a black, silver-toned or jewel-set mother-of-pearl dial. The display is equipped with lume-applied central hour and minutes hands. The small seconds are shown in a counter at 6 o’clock by means of a patented propeller hand.

The chronograph features are presented through a 30-minute sub-dial at 10 o’clock, a 12-hour counter at 2 o’clock as well as a central seconds hand. The date indication appears in an aperture at 4 o’clock.

The new Aquanautic watch goes on a hand-stitched purple leather strap with rubber lining. It joins to a patented buckle.
