Antiquorum reached a remarkable result of 15,326,100 Swiss Francs (equal to 12.8 million dollars) for the "Important Collector's Wristwatches, Pocket Watches, Clocks and Horological Tools" auction organized this weekend at the Grand Hotel Kempinski in Geneva. Antiquorum marks the beginning of 2008 with a remarkable sale to offer over 800 lots. This first Spring auction named Important Collectors' Watches, Pocket Watches and Clocks will take place at the Grand Hotel Kempinski in Geneva on March 15 -16. The beautifully designed catalogue presents important timepieces symbolizing several centuries of fine watch making, with a private collection of Jaeger LeCoultre watches among many others.

The Antiquorum auction will be followed by a thematic sale in New York - 'Revolution: The Evolution of Rolex Sport Watch'. It will be held on April 17th after special European preview organized in Geneva during the first two days of the SIHH show on April 7-8. read more

During a VIP cocktail party held on 11 July prior to the exhibition, four extremely rare limited edition Omega Speedmaster watches developed for the Jubilee year were sold at an Antiquorum charity auction, run by the major leading horological auctioneers in the world. The Speedmaster watches were numbered 57/57 for the red gold, yellow gold, and white gold models; and 57/1957 for the model crafted in stainless steel. read more
