I recently bought a Tag on E-Bay and took it to my jeweler to have it checked to be sure it was real. My jeweler said it was authentic but I noticed that there was no TAG markings on the movement when he took the case off the back of the watch. Does Tag make watches that do not have markings visible on the movement when you take the back off?

As far as we know, TAG Heuer equips its watches not only with its in-house movements, but also with calibers of other renowned Swiss brands, with Zenith, ETA, and Dubois-Depraz on the list. Probably the movement of your watch was also produced by another Swiss brand. As for TAG Heuer movements, they should display the brand's markings.
