I purchased a new TAG Heuer Aquaracer WAF2011.BA0818 and am looking at purchasing a TAG Heuer Aquaracer CAF2010.BA0815 chronograph. Both great watches. Can anyone tell me how to determine the manufacture date of either watch? Can that be determined by the serial number on the back of the case? or??

We believe that when you open the case-back of the watch, you can see the numbers under the TAG Heuer marking. These numbers denote the month and year of the manufacture date. For example, 5.99 implies May 1999.

Dear Sir,
I like 2 watches and I want to buy one of them.
First one is an Chopard Mille Miglia GT XL Chrono 2007, 16/8459-3001 and the another one is an Tag Heuer Grand Carrera Calibre 36 RS CAV5115.FT6019.
Which mouvement is better from the quality/reliability point of view?
Thank You.
Best regards,
Mihai

Dear Mihai,
The Chopard watch you are interested in is animated by an automatic 25-jewel movement crowned by the COSC-chronometer certification that implies great precision and reliability. It operates at the frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.
The heart of the TAG Heuer watch is also a COSC-certified chronometer automatic movement. This mechanism belongs to one of the most advanced movements ever created as it is beating at an amazing frequency of 36, 000 vibrations per hour. Moreover, it boasts the chronograph able to measure and display 1/10th of a second. You can find out more about this watch via the following article - TAG Heuer Grand CARRERA Calibre 36 RS Caliper Concept Chronograph
In fact, both movements are really reliable. So you can choose the watch from the point of view of the functionality and design you like better.
