After my father passed away, his watches were given to us . He has been in France and Germany in 1950s . He would make comments about this watch how good a watch it has been. I am not sure if I have the original Zenith Class Vintage. It look exactly same but the difference is it is silver outside . How can I find out? Thank you for your time.

If your father was so fond of watches and comment on good work of his timepiece, most probably he wouldn't own a counterfeit. Moreover, you wouldn't have found so many counterfeit goods in the period you mentioned. It should be an original timepiece. Yet, to make sure you have an original, it is better to show your watch to a professional watchmaker. You can find the addresses of the Zenith service centers via the following link - Zenith service centers.
