I own a 1970's Elgin Automatic Chronograph watch that needs repair. It has the original band and what I have looks great. It is missing the stem that adjusts the time and the buttons that control the stop watch. And it is not running. I would like to learn who could repair it and what it is worth. I understand it is rare. It has a TDB k (Tenor Dorley Brac 1376 movement. Thank you for your help. Bill

Try to contact Elgin Area Historical Society as they specialize at studing and collecting Elgin watches and can provide interesting information on many models, so they will most probably be able to answer your question. Their e-mail address is elginhistory@foxvalley.net
