Osirec Unveils Ancient Egypt Themed Watches

Sep 29, 2010
Founded by two French brothers, the young watch brand Osirec has pleasantly surprised the horological world with the presentation of its Ancient Egypt Themed watches.

Encouraged by the marvels of ancient Egypt, the brand’s new Lotus and Horus watches successfully unite the past and the present. The extraordinary timekeepers catch and hold the gaze with their captivating dials.

Each item proudly features a popular ancient Egypt imagery. The story of the ancient world continues on a periphery ring, marked with hieroglyphics.

The cheerful display comprises white-painted centralized hour and minutes hands. Set within the dial are also chronograph counters, presented at 6, 9 and 12 o’clock.

The date is shown in the exhibition window at 3 o’clock. The watch face is embraced by a smooth polished bezel or a rotating diver's bezel.

The artistically designed dial of every new Osirec watch from the Ancient Egypt Themed collection is just one facet of its versatile character, cast in sport classical style. Each model is offered with a stainless steel case, which measures 42 mm in diameter.

The case is equipped with a nicely-sized crown, located at 3 o’clock. The crown is kept company by oversized chronograph pushers, positioned at 2 and 4 o’clock. On the front side, the case is armed with a high-grade sapphire crystal. The water-resistance of each Ancient Egypt Themed watch is assured down to 100 meters.

The novel models are constructed around Swiss-made ETA 7750 automatic chronograph movements marvelously embellished with perlage polishing.

The Osirec watches are teamed with leather straps, performed in different colors.
