Meet Victorinox Swiss Army Alpnach Black Ice Chronograph Watch

Oct 05, 2011
Victorinox Swiss Army pleases its fans with its new Alpnach Black Ice Chronograph watch.

The new Victorinox watch features a 44mm stainless steel case provided with black PVD treatment. The case construction is 100-meter water-resistant and is mounted on a black ballistic nylon strap fitted with a black PVD deployant clasp.

The case stands out due to its double bezel. The fixed inner bezel demonstrates a tachymeter scale. As for the outer bezel, it demonstrates a 60-minute scale and is rotatable.

The new Victorinox watch is powered by one of the most reliable mass-produced chronograph movements of today the famous ETA Valjoux 7750 caliber. The 25-jewel automatic movement, beating at a cadence of 28,800 vibrations per hour, offers 40 hours of power reserve. It animated the following functions: Hours, minutes, seconds, chronograph, date, day of the week.

The matte dark gray dial of the Victorinox Swiss Army Alpnach Black Ice Chronograph watch lacks conventional numerals. The hands are coated with white Superluminova to guarantee a supreme level of legibility even under reduced light conditions. The dial is shielded by an antireflective sapphire crystal.
