The new Alpina watch is interpreted in a 44mm round-shaped stainless steel case. Its top is protected by a glare-proofed sapphire crystal. The sapphire glass is also used for the bottom of the case. The model is submersible to 100 meters.
Housed in the case is a matte silvered dial with applied Arabic numerals and hour-markers. Taking care of hours and minutes are central leaf-shaped hands, applied with luminescent compound. They are joined by a seconds hand and a date indication at 3 o’clock.
The new Alpina Startimer Classic Automatic watch relies on a Swiss made automatic Alpina AL-525 movement, based on Sellita caliber. It incorporates a black personalized rotor, graced with a Cotes-de-Geneva finish. Paved with 26 jewels, the movement runs at the rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a 42-hour power reserve.
The new Alpina watch is teamed with a brown or black leather strap.
