Alain Robert has conquered over 80 skyscrapers all over the world, without using any ropes or karabiners. The list of his outstanding feats performed by the bare-handed man includes the Empire State Building in New York, and the Taipei 101, known as the second tallest building in the world.
The majority of his exploits were performed with no permission from authorities and the celebrity climber has to face legal issues. It is important to mention that many of the climbs have been performed for humanitarian causes.

At the International Extreme Sports Festival that took place from November 5th to 7th, Alain Robert performed his latest feat – he climbed the panoramic Ferris wheel in Singapore, the tallest observation wheel in the world. The construction is 165 meters high, equal to 44 stories. The climb took the man 40 minutes. This time the French Spiderman received the official permission from the Singapore authority.

Fascinated by famous climbers, Alain Robert has been crazy about climbing since his childhood. As first, his parents did not support their son’s dangerous hobby. Alain started to learn climbing in secret. At the age of 12, the future Spiderman, having forgotten his house keys, climbed in through the apartment window on the 8th floor. Alain parents gave in, and the boy became a high-level climber.
