Victorinox Swiss Army Presents AirBoss Mach 8 Special Edition Watch

The highly acclaimed Victorinox Airboss collection welcomes a new member – the AirBoss Mach 8 Special Edition watch. The collection has been inspired by an aircraft carrier’s “Air Boss”, the one in the command tower, responsible for determining, with utmost accuracy, every take-off and landing proceeding on deck.

As every member of the collection, the new AirBoss Mach 8 Special Edition watch is designed as a high-performance instrument s characterized by supreme technical reliability and accuracy, being animated by a Swiss-made movement.

The timepiece boasts the brand’s innovative feature - a chronograph start/stop pushbutton positioned at 8 o’clock. The crown and date window are found at 9 o’clock. You will notice one more crown at 2 o’clock to be used for activating the signature AirBoss function - the internal bidirectional flange that frames the dial provides the countdown of aircraft takeoff/landing.

The case of the new Victorinox watch is sculptured from brushed stainless steel and measures 45 mm in diameter. It incorporates a screw-in transparent case-back. The case construction is 100-meter water-resistant. The face of the watch is shielded by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with triple anti-reflective coating.

The dial guarantees perfect readability under any light conditions as it is completed with luminescent hands and hour markers.

The heart of the timepiece is a mechanical self-winding chronograph movement - Valjoux 7750. The chronograph function offers 1/4th of a second precision timing. It is presented via 60-second, 30-minute and 12-hour counters.

The Victorinox Swiss Army AirBoss Mach 8 Special Edition watch is secured to the wearer’s wrist on a soft black leather strap featuring white stitching.
