Long related to the world of sailing, Corum is pleased to announce it has become Presenting Sponsor of the Bol d’Or Mirabaud to start on June 12. The new partnership is a fine way for the brand to strengthen its relationship to world-famous sailors such as Ben Ainslie and Loick Peyron and highly-prestigious sailing events such as the Grand Prix Corum.

The Bol d’Or Mirabaud, already 72-year-old, the pride of the Lake Geneva region, holds a legendary status in the world of sailing, is organized for both professional and non-professional sailors. The event is highly popular among sailing enthusiasts.

It annually brings together about 600 sailboats and champions from all over Europe, along with 3,000 participants from all backgrounds, united by their passion for sailing.
Corum is really pleased to be associated with this prestigious sailing event. Celebrating the new partnership, the brand is to unveil a limited edition 48 Bol d’Or Mirabaud 2010. The timepiece will be available in a limited edition of 35 pieces.

The special edition of the iconic Corum watch, which stands out from the crowd due to its dodecagonal bezel and a dial featuring nautical pennants, will demonstrate the colors of the regatta - Blue and Gold. The Corum watch, as a symbol of the partnership, will become the official watch of the Bol d’Or Mirabaud. The winning team of the Bol d’Or and the Bol de Vermeil will be presented with the limited edition watch.

The heart of the Corum Bol d’Or Mirabaud watch is a self-winding COSC-certified chronograph movement - CO753. The 27-jewel movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The movement provides the following functions - hours, minutes, small seconds, date, and chronograph. It boasts the signature Corum finish, with the oscillating weight engraved with the brand name. It gives an advantage of a 48-hour power reserve.

The twelve-sided 48mm case of the Admiral’s Cup Chronograph watch is rendered in titanium, with crown embellished with Corum key. The bezel and crown protector are produced from vulcanized rubber. The screw-down case back reveals a Bol d’Or Mirabaud medaillon. The timepiece is 300-meter water-resistant.

The blue dial, adorned with 12 nautical pennants, features three counters - 30 minutes at 3 o’clock, 12 hours at 6 o’clock, and small seconds at 9 o’clock. The date window is positioned at 4.30. You will notice “Limited Edition Bol d’Or Mirabaud” words transferred on the dial. The dial is characterized by perfect readability under any light conditions as its facetted hour, minute hands and counter hands are provided with black Superluminova coating. It is shielded by a cambered twelve-sided sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating.

The Corum Admiral’s Cup Chronograph 48 Bol d’Or Mirabaud 2010 watch is coupled with a black vulcanized rubber strap fitted with a titanium tongue buckle engraved with Corum logo.
