The novelty follows the men’s model in the mini-collection paying tribute to one of the greatest skiers of all time. It is a limited edition of just 20 pieces.
The partnership between the ski legend and the watchmaking brand was born due to the values shared by them - thirst for perfection and decidedly Swiss identity. Didier Cuche officially retired from competition at the end of the 2011-2012 season, but his cooperation with Corum successfully continues.
The new resolutely sporty Corum watch for ladies features the brand’s iconic twelve-sided case, 44 mm in diameter. It is presented in white vulcanized rubber. It is teamed with a matching white rubber strap equipped with a triple folding clasp.
The silvery grey dial bears a tone-on-tone transfer depicting a stylized face of the ski legend. The dial provides supreme readability. It is enlivened by orange accents – on the elegant seconds hand, the minute circle around the inner bezel ring and the “Limited Edition” inscription.
The lady’s watch is animated by a truly ideal motor - a mechanical automatic C0960 movement, a COSC-certified chronometer. The mechanism is partially visible via a transparent case-back that reveals a metalized interpretation of Didier Cuche’s face logo and signature.
The movement animates indications of the hours, minutes, small seconds found at 9 o’clock, a date presented via a 3 o’clock window and a central chronograph seconds hand.
The new Corum Admiral’s Cup 44 Chrono Centro Didier Cuche Lady’s watch joins Didier Cuche’s mini watch collection that already includes two men’s models featuring a black or an anthracite dial and equipped by the same movement. The latest addition is a fine choice for the ski legend’s most fervent female fans.
