Developed by the designer Roberto Bianci, the new model has adopted a tungsten carbide case. Containing equal parts of tungsten and carbon atoms, this inorganic chemical compound is approximately three times stiffer than steel.
The tungsten carbide forms a surface, characterized by a high level of scratch-resistance. Moreover, due to this exceptional material, the new Bianci watch acquires a dark grey color, which exudes an unmistakable masculine appeal.
With the diameter equal to 44 mm, the watch case carries a 12-sided bezel, designed in the "AP" style. The case is also equipped with a crown, traditionally located at 3 o’clock. It is joined by two highly-rounded chronograph pushers, which are much smaller in size. The water-resistance of the timepiece is assured down to 30 meters.
The appealing bezel of the new 5837M Tungsten watch frames a black dial. It serves a perfect background for lume-applied triangular hour-markers, hour and minutes hands, as well as for two chronograph counters and a day of the week sub-dial, performed in blue.
Additionally, the timekeeper also indicates a date, which appears in the aperture at 4 o’clock. A special eye-catcher of the dial is surely a contrasting centralized seconds hand, dressed in red.
The display is also equipped with a sloped flange ring, marked with a tachymeter scale. Protecting the dial is a high-grade sapphire crystal. The interior life of the model is represented by a Swiss-made ISA movement.
A matching tungsten bracelet rounds off the consummate appearance of the new Bianci watch. It will surely meet the most stringent expectations of the discerning man, looking for flawless detail.
