The new TAG Heuer watch pays tribute to Juan Manuel Fangio, a legendary driver of the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR. The great driver became the symbol of a golden age of motor racing. The timepiece also celebrates a successful partnership between TAG Heuer and Mercedes-Benz.
The appearance of the TAG Heuer 300 SLR Calibre 1887 Chronograph has been inspired by the 1950s, a period of elegance and groundbreaking design decisions. The brown face of the watch demonstrates a refined retro style. The heart of the watch is the in-house Calibre 1887 chronograph automatic movement, a guarantee of supreme precision, which allows the watch’s owner to start chronograph functions at remarkable speed - within 2/1000ths of a second.

The case of the TAG Heuer watch measures 41 mm in diameter and is crafted in polished steel. Its flange features a tachymeter scale. The dial shows the time with help of hand-finished hour and minute hands provided with luminescent markers. It is completed with luminescent, hand-applied indexes embellished with stylish orange detailing. You will notice a vintage Heuer logo at 3 o’clock.

The chronograph functions are presented via two sub-dials - hours at 6 o’clock and minutes at 12 o’clock. As for the running seconds, they are featured at 9 o’clock. The date window is found at 6 o’clock.
The TAG Heuer 300 SLR Calibre 1887 Chronograph watch will be available in a limited edition of 3000 pieces.
