The novelty is devoted to Daniel Jeanrichard, one of the founders of the watchmaking industry in the Neuchatel region. The watchmaker commemorated the year 1681, having manufactured his first watch.
The 1681 Ronde watch has been created in the most elegant traditions of watchmaking. The heart of the timepiece is a famous self-winding manufacture movement – the caliber JR1000. JeanRichard developed the mechanism in 2004. It required four years of thorough research and development.
The movement guarantees supreme timekeeping performance and great running stability. It incorporates a new rotor crowned by the brand’s signature – one can see it via the sapphire crystal case-back. The 27-jewel movement, beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, offers 48 hours of power reserve.
The 41 mm case is fashioned in pink gold or stainless steel. It is characterized by refined style and contemporary dimensions.
The face of the timepiece, shielded by an antireflective sapphire crystal , recalls the finest classic watches, demonstrating a nice touch of modernity. The white lacquered dial pleases by its legibility. The time is shown with help of traditional leaf-shaped hands and baton indexes coated with luminescent material. The date is positioned at 3 o’clock. The pink gold variation features additional applied Arabic numerals.
The new JeanRichard 1681 Ronde watch is presented on an alligator strap fitted with a pin buckle.
